VCU Children’s Medical Center is located in the heart of downtown Richmond. We provide a child-friendly and family-centered environment in both our inpatient and outpatient locations. Inpatient care is provided on the MCV Campus of the VCU Medical Center, while outpatient services are provided on the MCV Campus and at convenient satellite clinics throughout central Virginia.

Main Hospital and Critical Care Hospital
The Main Hospital houses pediatric inpatient units on the 7th floor, and the newborn nursery on the 8th floor.
The 6th floor of the newly opened (Nov. 2008) Critical Care Hospital houses our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Parking
Reduced parking rates ($2.00 per visit) are available for patients and visitors who obtain parking validation at the Information Desks located on the first floor of Main Hospital, ACC, Nelson Clinic and the ground floor of the Gateway Building. Lost parking tickets for the Patient & Visitor Parking Deck will be charged $10.00 upon exit unless a $2.00 validation is presented.

Gateway Circle
Valet parking at the Gateway Circle provides convenient access to the Main Hospital, Critical Care Hospital, Nelson Clinic, Ambulatory Care Center and West Hospital.

Children's Pavilion
The Children’s Pavilion is a 57,347-square-foot pediatric outpatient facility dedicated to providing advanced, compassionate, child-centered healthcare. The Children’s Pavilion is located in the former Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital, which takes up a city block bounded by 11th, 12th, East Broad and East Marshall streets. Valet parking ($5) is available under the pavilion and there is direct elevator service to our clinics and offices from the parking garage.
The Children’s Pavilion is home to state-of-the-art pediatric primary and subspecialty care; numerous outpatient surgical services; resident, medical student and nursing education; pediatric medical care coordination; and clinical research studies. Our administrative offices also are located within the building.

VCU at Stony Point
VCU Health System’s Stony Point facility is an outpatient facility that provides comprehensive medical services. The Stony Point satellite clinic offers pediatric specialty services just south of the James River.

Take Exit 74A for VA-195 West/I-195 North Downtown Expressway to Powhite Parkway
Pay toll (70¢) and merge left toward VA-76 South/Powhite Parkway, crossing over the James River
Follow the “Full Service” toll signs for the VA-150 North/Chippenham Parkway exit, pay toll (70¢) and take the first right exit for Chippenham Parkway North
Continue on Chippenham Parkway for about 3.5 miles
Take the exit for Stony Point Fashion Park/Stony Point Parkway and bear left
Turn left at the traffic light onto Stony Point Parkway
