VCU Children’s is proud to be a regional resource for our community and healthcare professionals. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive care to the most critically ill and injured patients, sub-specialty consults at local and regional hospitals, educational experiences in all aspects of pediatric medicine, and research opportunities to advance child health outcomes.

Below you will find information on how to make an appointment, admit a patient, get patient follow-up information, and transfer a patient.

Appointments and Referrals
If you are a physician who would like to refer a patient or make an appointment with one of our sub-specialty clinics, please call (804) 628-7337 and select option 3.

As the only full-service pediatric healthcare facility in the area, we operate many busy clinics. If the need to make an appointment with a specialist is urgent and you are unable to make a timely appointment please call the physician access line at (804) 628-1PAL (1725) and we will do our best to accommodate your patient’s needs.

Patient Information
We will strive to inform you of your patient’s progress every step of the way.  If you would like to check on a patient who has been admitted to one of our in-patient units please call the physician access line at (804) 628-1PAL (1725).
