At VCU Children’s we believe in treating the whole child—not just the illness. With this in mind we provide many items to help make a child’s hospital stay more comfortable and “normal” including: special band-aids for boo boos, movies to enjoy during a treatment, nail polish to look glamorous—even in the hospital, gas cards for out-of-town families, stuffed animals, and even fun pillowcase covers for our patients.
