Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network is an organization dedicated to generating funds and awareness for healthcare benefiting the children of Central Virginia. The Richmond branch of CMN was founded in 1983, and has successfully raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, all of which remains in the area, directly benefiting the VCU Children's Medical Center and Children's Hospital.

ASK (Association for the Support of Children with Cancer)
Since 1975, when a group of parents came together to help their children with cancer and others like them, the mission has remained the same:

Making Life Better for Children with Cancer.

This goal is accomplished by providing financial, spiritual, social, and emotional support directly to the children and families

Safe Kids of Virginia
Safe Kids WorldWide is the first and only national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury. VCU Children's is fortunate to have an in-house Safe Kids Virginia office. Safe Kids works to make injury prevention a public policy priority, conducts public outreach and awareness campaigns, and participates in hands-on special events. Safe Kids addresses risk areas that are significant in our community including car seat safety, bicycle safety, home safety, pedestrian safety training, and water safety.

Make-A-Wish
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of central and western Virginia grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.  It is the vision of the organization that people everywhere will share the power of a wish.
