The Children's Hospital of Richmond Summer Safety Fair is an interactive, fun and educational event for patients and community children. The fair was created 12 years ago by pediatric resident, Dr. Judy Barto. Dr. Barto's vision was to decrease and prevent accidents and injuries through safety skills education. The fair has expanded over the years and has educated thousands of community children on over 20 safety and injury prevention topics.
