A New Day! Discover the CHoR logo.
It's a New Day! By joining the expertise of Children’s Hospital and VCU Medical Center we have created a unified, powerful resource for better treatment, care and health of all children. The first tool we created to capture this spirit is the Children’s Hospital of Richmond logo. The name was selected after surveying parents in the area – they felt this particular name most strongly conveyed the feeling of “best care” and, since that is what we do, the name fit.
- The art includes the traditional mark from Children’s Hospital – we fondly call him “Herman.”
- We incorporated the strength of the VCU gold and added a touch of playfulness with the rich blue tones.
- We included a line to help explain the spirit of our union: “VCU Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. A New Day.”
A team comprised of both VCU and Children’s employees worked together to create this logo – it is a perfect example of how we will collaborate and work together.
