“Developing Families as Advocates: Leading the Way Forward for Children with Special Needs.”
Presented By:The National Association of Children’s Hospitals
Join us to hear the latest on health reform and what it
means for children. The program will focus on why
legislative advocacy is important and why advocacy
matters to children and children’s hospitals. If you
are a health care professional, community agency,
teacher or parent this program is for you. Both new
and experienced advocates will learn “How to be a
Champion for Children’s Health.”

Making a Difference through Advocacy.” All attendees will receive a resource packet and N.A.C.H. Grassroots Advocacy Toolkit – How to be a Champion for Children’s Health.
As part of this 7th annual event,Children’s Hospital of Richmond will present the 2010 “Spirit of Advocacy” and “Community Partner” Awards.
